Brand Consultancy – integrated research strategy-design projects for clients undergoing major brand-led transformations. As part of the strategy team and working closely with the MD, I supported PUSH with insights and research that were instrumental to winning high-profile pitches (AGL), generating strategy deliverables (NAB/MLC, Alfred Health) and crafting thought leadership presentations for conferences (Brand2Global in California, Pause Fest in Melbourne)
Research & insight development: market intelligence, consumer trend research, best practice literature reviews to inform brand strategy workshops, new business pitches, keynote presentations, and thought leadership across banking, energy, and financial services.
PUSH received an RFI (request for information) from one of Australia’s top domestic energy suppliers. They wanted a response, including a point of view on their brand and market, with a two-week turnaround, right before Christmas.
Considering how tough the energy sector is in terms of building interesting, differentiating points of view…it was a big task. After meeting internally, the team realised some fresh eyes would be helpful in order to pull the presentation together. The research focused on two items – best practice brands and campaigns for energy suppliers from around the world and branding themes and positioning territories that would be relevant and distinctive.
Insights and case studies covering the international energy market meant PUSH was able to provide a unique point of view on a compressed timeline and, in fact, won the business.
I have worked on BP and Castrol so was familiar with trends in global energy, including messaging and environmental concerns, and accessed best practice resources that provided a robust response for the consultancy to build upon.
Other PUSH Collective projects:
National Australia Bank, AGL Energy, Alfred Health, and MD/CEO presentations for The Marketing Academy, Brand2Global, Pause Fest.
